Washington Irving Rowser
Father of Samuel F. Rowser
(Obituary taken from the Sundance Times, Sundance, Wyoming)

Word has been received of the death of W. I. (Irv) Rowser, one of Crook Counties early day teachers, at the Later-day Saint Hospital, Salt Lake City, Utah, a short time ago. Mr. Rowser taught a number of schools in northern Wyoming and southern Montana. Many old pupils throughout this region will remember him. He left Crook County about 1896 and then went to western Colorado, where he was a foreman at a mine. Details of his death are not known here except that his son, Samuel was with him. There were two sons and a daughter in his family. He was 80 years of age. Irv was a brother of J. M. Rowser of Stanwood, A. W. and Miss Nannie Rowser, E. E. Rowser of Clarence, Iowa. He received his education, elementary, at Towhead School and later attended College of Toledo, Iowa.
