In a hand written note from Ruth Rowser Jones, she says:
"Mrs. Frances Matilda Rowser Eppard, youngest of John S. Rowser's children,
was born in Martinsburg, PA April 11, 1843. Came to Davenport in 1844.
Married William A. Eppard Feb. 24, 1864 and moved from Davenport shortly
after. He died in 1897. She survived four children. Member of the Methodist
church, she died Feb. 1, 1927. Her grand children are Mrs. B. W. Janick,
Minneapolis, MN; Cecil Eppard, Pasadena, CA; William Eppard, Mrs. John
Ellefson of Becker, MN; Vernon Eppard of Minneapolis, MN and Mrs. Austin
